The Salt & Associates Law Firm foundation was first laid in 1981 by Mr. Suphi Salt (the founder). He opened the doors to his first office with a mission to provide quality and expert legal assistance to clients at every step of the way, and ever since, he never looked back.

Ever since the inception of Salt & Associates Law Firm, Mr. Suphi Salt has been focused on expanding the legal team of lawyers in Iraq to serve clients better. The Salt & Associates Law Firm gradually broadened into a multi-jurisdictional law firm featuring over fifty experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable lawyers. Over the years, we have spread our roots into not just Iraq but the Middle East too.

Salt & Associates Law Firm offices are located across cities like Baghdad, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Istanbul, Muscat, Salalah, and RAK. However, because of governmental regulations, Salt & Associates operated under different names in different jurisdictions. For example, as Baitulhikma in the UAE, as Al Yahyaei & Salt in Oman, and as Salt & Associations in Iraq and UAE.
