Ahmad joined Herbert Smith Freehills’ Dubai office as an associate where he contributed significantly to the firm’s fund and private equity operations until 2010. Ahmad’s notable tenure at Media Zone Investments as Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Director showcased his capability to navigate the intricate legalities of venture capital investments and strategic media investments, reinforcing his status as a legal authority in the investment domain. Currently at the helm of Salt & Associates’ UAE practice in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Ahmad continues to leverage his deep legal insights, focusing on private equity, media law and international arbitration, to lead his team and clients to success. His legal expertise extends across borders, holding rights of audience before the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Courts, all arbitration bodies of the United Arab Emirates and the Courts of England & Wales (up to the Court of Appeal).

Most recently, Ahmad has been advising large institutional investors and UAE-government linked corporates on strategic litigation and arbitration matters.
